When IHUG, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the joy of friendship to those in need, decided to launch their special “Valley Glen Delivery of Friendship” program, they knew they were headed for a rewarding experience.
By combining their own volunteers with those from local organizations, IHUG was able to bring the “delivery of friendship” to Valley Glen, a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. This initiative was made possible by generous donations from local businesses and organizations.
The program was created to bring special deliveries of food, clothing, and other items to those in need. Volunteers would go door to door to deliver these items and spend some time with the residents. With each visit, the volunteers aimed to bring a sense of hope and compassion to those in need.
The goal of the program was to provide a tangible way for those in need to receive the basic necessities of life that many of us take for granted. The volunteers also helped to bring a sense of community to the area, as the volunteers worked to build relationships with the residents.
The “Valley Glen Delivery of Friendship” program was a huge success, and IHUG has since expanded the program to other neighborhoods. They have continued to bring the joy of friendship to those in need and have created a lasting impact in the community.
IHUG’s goal is to bring a sense of hope and companionship to those in need throughout the world, and the “Valley Glen Delivery of Friendship” program is just one example of how they have been able to make a difference in the lives of many.
